Am I pissing you off-fuh-fuh?
That handle is AWESOME! I have been trying to come up with something like that for the past several years. I have asked every wakeboarder and foiler I know for ideas. This group ranges from some of the most innovative minds in hydrofoiling to a NASA engineer. Everything always comes back to covering the existing (now obsolete?) triangle design with mesh something or other.
I'll take two.
I like the design and I would like to try it.
Is it made of carbon?
I know a couple riders which haven't had good experience with CF handles, like handle slips of the hand on a floater was resulting in a chipped board and a broken handle.
The bullet release and the comptech release saves me, my handle and my foil very well.
Solves the arm through the handle problem but that looks like a grappling hook to me![]()
Thank you for all the comments. Mike and I have been working around the clock on the T-handle to get it ready for the LA boat show. Until now, everything in water sports has evolved over the years except the water ski handle. As Paul mentioned before we are coming out with two models, the carbon fiber and an aluminum T-handle. The carbon fiber handle will be under $200 and the aluminum handle will be under $100. Both handles will also float. In testing, the handle has worked great and has found to have many benefits. The obvious benefit is the T-handle greatly reduces the chance of getting your arm or head caught. Without the fear of getting your arm caught in the handle will advance riders and their tricks. In testing we also found that it seems easier to do a handle pass trick with no side ropes in the way. We are also using a new way to attach the handle to the rope allowing those of you that enjoy wrapping the rope around the t-bar, to replace the damaged rope without having to get a new handle. We will offer different ropes off of the handle including: a braided rope for wrapping, t-handle grip for wrapping and a 5ft. cut able rope off the handle for foilers. We’ve spent a lot of time focusing on coming out with a new grip that is as innovative as the T-handle. The prototypes we are experimenting with provide a grip unlike any other and seem to cause less arm fatigue. We hope to have these handles in full production by next month. The picture of the T-handle posted was a concept drawing and has changed a little since then. I am having issues posting photos so I will have Paul post some later……Shawn

There are pictures of a handle in the post? I didn't see it. :)
When/where can we buy one?
