My son helped build up Toes and the ramp system. Been riding out there for years. Started out as just a little track and now there are several tracks and the monster jump. It was rebuilt after the long jump and is used still today for freestyle...........

Ryan Capes blows right by the 300 ft mark
    2008-07-23
Monster Energy's Ryan Capes , the first motorcyclist to break the then unheard of 300-foot jump barrier, has got his Monster Energy/Pro Circuit-tuned Kawasaki KX450F tuned and cleared for take-off this weekend with his sights set on sailing into the history books.
Ryan Capes aint scurred.Capes, widely considered the reigning king of motorcycle distance jumping, will take aim at his custom Monster Energy jump ramp—5th gear, wide open—in a "media only" event this weekend at his home motocross track - Toe's MX Park in Royal, Wash. Earlier this year in a simple practice session at Toe's while testing his new ramp, Capes "mashed" (as in landed right on it) Robbie Maddison's 322-foot world record set New Year's Eve on ESPN. The word went out in the distance community on what Capes had done, to which he nonchalantly played it off—giving props back to his friend and rival Maddison.Said Capes back in February: "My dad and I measured it out and we jumped 323-6." This would have been a new world record, eclipsing that of Maddison's 322-7 leap. "But Seth (Enslow) measured it at 322-6, so we went with that"
Moving the in-run around at Toe's, Capes says he's got 2,000 feet of clean approach to his newly designed Monster Energy take-off ramp, hitting speeds in the 80 mph range. He adds that he is confident that 400-plus footers are well within the realm of his ability."322 was a cakewalk," he says. "I'm on the hunt and records are gonna fall."And that time's now. Capes figures he's going to jump 400 feet this weekend, possibly even as far as 420 feet if the conditions are ideal. He added that there's little pressure at the remote facility, as he'll be surrounded by his dad and close buddies—poised to uncork the 400-footer on his clock when he "feels it." Stay tuned to MonsterEnergy.com for exclusive mind-blowing footage of Capes' session this weekend, as we'll have cameras all over the place for this historic jump. AS FAR AS I KNOW HE STILL HOLDS THE RECORD...................
