Hey guys! I have a LEX that I'm looking to upgrade the wings. I'm currently riding with the stock wings. LEX flat front and the old style bat-wing. I know its all personal preference but what would be a good wing setup for the LEX? Could I just upgrade the front wing and ride with my rear wing? I've been riding for a couple years. Started on a old Airchair now on the LEX and WOW what a difference. Just wondering how big a difference a new wing set up will make? Have a baby coming this summer so looking for some good used wings, not wanting to break the bank. And if anybody is looking to upgrade and wanting to sell their old wings send me a pm. Sorry maybe this should have been posted in the General Discussion area. If so please move.

Thanks! I don't post on here much but I do love all the info on the site. Can't wait to get on the water!

I once used a Mach 2 with a modified bat rear (cut the winglets off) on a lex. It was a good ride.

With the new Apex and other new wings you should be able to grab a Max Air at a good price. I had that very set up before and it rode great. Did not even have to change the rear wing to notice a big difference. However, there are a lot of great choices out there. Xtreme wings.... N2O Has Great wings. The one I tired and liked though was the Max Air.

I had the exact same setup. I switched my front to a MaxAir and kept the Bat rear. It made a big difference in the way it rides.

If you find yourself a Max Air, I have an LE Bat rear that has been modified to match the shape of the Max Air (curved leading edge instead of straight, and smaller winglets). It makes a great pair. I was using it until last fall when I switched to the Fling. If you're interested I'll send or post photos.

Hey guys! Thanks for all the input. I found a Maxair that i'm going to go with. @skyskiguy, if you still have that rear wing this summer i might be interested. I want to try out the maxair with my batwing rear and see how much of a change and what kind of a change it makes first. I want to change one thing at a time so I can see the diffirence it makes and learn what changes what with the ride of the foil.

    Thanks again

Good Idea Craig. You won't be disappointed in that setup.

That would be a great set-up.
