My friend wanted a more space saving way to store hydrofoils on his Wakesetter then laying them all on the back deck and back seat of the boat. They came up with this....it stores them out of the way on both sides of the boat, taking up minimal space in the boat, and very easy to get them out and onto the swimstep, unlike typical racks that you have to lift them out and down from the tower high above. They did it by bolting used cinch stays to the tower. It holds the foils suprisingly stable. They dont move at all. Cost: $10 dollars in hardware and a pair of used Cinch stays that hadnt been thrown out when replaced. See pics:
