My friend on Kauai just sent me this video, I think the foil assembly might have set the new record!

looks like either the tbar snapped or more likely the bolts came out of the tower to bolt in the bar ...either way scary stuff!

I need to try that trick when I need a upgrade might be a easier sell on the wife:)

If I had to guess the ski had a Fork top bar in it. The tower wasn't cranked down tight enough and the safety pin was missing. Either it fell out during the ride or was not installed. Either way I am glad Alli J. was not hurt and I hope Andy.J enjoyed a little SCUBA while hunting it down.

The thought of my T-Bar hurdling above me sends chills down my spine as you can get cut just looking at the trailing edge of my wings I'm glad he wasn't hurt.

Ha ha, you got the story, yes it was a fork tbar and the Next tower did not have a slot for a safety pin. I am also glad no one was hurt because it looked like it could have been ugly. I hope that Andy and his family still had a great time on Kauai, I will be there next week!

Maverick, you're gonna do what?. I'll hit the brakes and he'll fly right by. I think as long as you loft that t-bar up in the air high enough and hang onto the handle you're good to go. Don't try this at home.
