Heading over to Wetumpka Alabama for an early season rust-removing day of foiling with fellow member Steepcreeker (Mike). I kinda invited myself over when he admitted he had foiled last weekend. I do appreciate the generosity and hospitality and have that fun anxious feeling alive in me that precedes the first time each season. Forecast keeps getting revised but will be sunny and around 70. Beats my earliest time out by 16 days.

Will have cameras to properly capture Mike and his shenanigans on the foil, so look for pics and video early next week.

Yesterday was awesome, great hospitality by Mike(Steepcreeker) and foiling for the first time of the year. Took some video, haven't pulled it off the camera yet, here are some pics of Mike , especially middle of the third row and the next 6 from one monster sequence:

Looks like you had a good time. Can't wait for warmer weather to ride more.

Other than bad injuries, has anyone here not always had a great time foiling?

the pictures were all of Mike (Steepcreeker) who always has a positive outlook and seems to enjoy himself. Seems like the country is warming up right now. You'll get warm weather shortly.

that at is Mike (Steepcreeker) riding, I'll let him answer the visor question, something about aerodynamics while inverted

Agree that it was nice riding though, he is smooth and someone that I'll be modeling after to get to next level myself.

[QUOTE=PhatAir4Me;73870]What is up with the funky visor?
LOL I get asked that a lot. It is nothing more than a sun visor for me. I'm the type that doesn't go outside without a hat on so having the visor just feels better to me. There are a couple of shots in the beginning of the series where you can see the shade it provides. Some have stated that it would interfere with spotting my landings but if it does I don't notice it anymore. It is really nice to have in the late afternoon when you're waiting for the boat pickup and the sun is low on the horizon and right in your face. Since it is held on with a velcro strip it can me adjusted up or down a bit. Not for most folks but then again I'm weird

If anyone is interested in expressing their uniqueness like me. http://www.nrs.com/product/2043/nrs-helmet-visor
