We are taking the new boat out for a spin, thinking of goung for a ride but there are some damn logs in the water. Anyone ever hit one before with their foil?

A floating log would hurt. Weeds have taken out a lot of riders. Even the occasional garage door.

I hit a submerged tree one time - one of the worst crashes I can remember. The lake I skied on freezes in the winter - so fishermen go out and cut any trees sticking up to the level of the ice. Well of course in the spring, the water rose about 6 inches so there was nothing visible. How the boat didn't hit the trees is beyond me - but I went from 25+ mph to 0 in about .0000001 seconds. Brutal to say the least! I suggest not trying that.
