Somehow I ended up with a full rack for the starboard side of the boat, except for the arms that hold the rack. It has the plunger that can be moved to hold the rack open at pretty much any desired angle. It is currently set at 90 degrees. I think you could put it on the port side, but it opens to the right, which is usually going to be clumsy from inside the boat.

This has never been mounted. It will likely work on 2.5 inch towers that have not been powder coated as well. The first picture is a little deceptive, the smaller ring is the bottom part of the tube clamp. The hole measures 2.5". Look at the other pictures and you will see what I mean.

    SOLD!

The arms have 2.5 inch bolt hole spacing, which is pretty universal. It works with both Comptech arms and Gergler arms.
This is what you would need to make it complete.

    Price lowered to $300 OBO.

If someone is interested in a good deal on a new swiveling rack, you could buy what Larry is selling and have it shipped to me. I would add the parts necessary to turn it into a complete rack, adding the rear arm, strut clamp, and front arm with board clamp. I’d also make a couple improvements that I introduced after Larry bought this swivel: I now include two spring plungers instead of one, so I would add one (I use a slightly different style now, but they both work fine). I have also added a small stainless steel ramp that guides the spring plunger into it’s locked position. The cost for me to do all this would be $420.00 plus shipping (in addition to whatever you pay Larry for his stuff). For comparison, this would be the same as a new swiveling rack that I sell for $720.00 plus shipping. Actually one slight difference: the spring plungers I use now have a ring on top instead of the right angle, so you would have one of each style.

As long as you will be attaching to a round tower tube, it could be any diameter; I can replace the existing tower clamp with whatever size you need. You could also save $65.00 if you skip the new spring plunger and ramp, my price would come down to $355.00 plus shipping without those two pieces.

Of course this would have to be OK with Larry.

If you have any questions, please email me at DRGergler@aol.com, and if you want to know the shipping cost send me your zip code.

$225 shipped to either your location or Gergler. It is time to move.
