Lets start with your rope. Is that a ski rope? It looks like it, and that could be a lot of your problem. You need a no-stretch or at least a low-stretch rope. (A wakeboard rope). 2nd issue I see is you are trying to make a big jump. I would have you make your first jumps by just lowering our hands to your knees and staying in that position throughout the jump and the wings are still in the water. Start with those 2 things, and post more video.

Thanks for the tips, got my first jump and am making some progress! Wasn't able to get that no-strech rope though. Will have to work a little more to get that.

nice going. Ride just outside the wake and do the same. Without prop wash it will be a little smoother for all parts, takeout and landing. Keep posting progress.

A no-stretch rope is a game changer in this sport. Back in the beginning I tried a ski rope and couldn't land any jumps. The very next time we went out with a no-stretch rope and was easily doing jumps. This sport is drastically affected by boat speed. If at all possible I also suggest perfect-pass on the boat (kind of like cruise control) depending on how steady the boat driver is. This helps with consistency.

    Congrats on the progress!

It is easy to see in your first video that you load the rope a little, then jump, and the rope recoils and pulls you over the front.

These ropes can be expensive, but there are some low stretch ropes that are pretty cheap, if cost is an issue. Skiers use that recoil to launch themselves across the wake back and forth.
