We've made it to March! Lakes that get levels lowered are in process or filling back up, or with all the rain in the southeast, overflowing right now.

We typically target a weekend around 4/1 to take our first day out on the water with wetsuits on.

As usual we are looking forward to a great season of foiling, hanging out with friends and introducing the sport to others.

I've seen a few posts on the mastercraft forums about lake levels flooding recently in Tennessee, my lake, just NW of Atlanta rose over 21 feet in a ~10-11 day period. That is a crazy amount of water and it still is rising slightly with rain forecasted tomorrow before a few days of sunshine in a row to help.

A buddy did the math for me when it was up around 19' that that equated to 73 billion gallons of water added based on the square mileage of the lake.

I am heading up there to check things out, expect to see my floating dock's walking ramp pointed down into the water(still connected to land that is underwater). Will grab a picture or three.

When do the non-year rounders expect to get their first runs in this year?

With 66" of fresh dry powder in the last seven days it is hard to wrap my head around water but as I gear up to go sledding (motorized) I would hazard a guess of May Day.

Sooner the better! We have a foot and a half of ice to melt. After this week it looks like the warmer weather is starting to pull in. Last year we were on the lake by Apr. 22. Two years ago was Mar. 30, year before that was Mar. 12.

Need to find some winter riding spots!

Feel your pain. With all the rain we have been getting on the west coast we didn't get to ride for 3 weeks! Finally got out last weekend and look who showed up!

Looks kind of windy out there Eric :) Will be out to the Havasu Springs April 16th - 22nd. Probably will miss you again, but will touch base again closer to the date. Still haven't splatted big time with the PFC!
