I wish I could say I broke my t-bar going BIG but that is not the case. I was installing a new rear wing which came with the stainless bolts. Apparently, the rear bolt was longer than the threaded bolt hole in the bar. It was only like 1 thread longer but I torqued it down. This ignorance produced a split in the rear fuselage.
I have heard of people welding and even drilling and installing lateral pins to close the gap in similar situations. I do not want to send it out for a 2 piece bolt on fuselage. This is a Murphy billet T-bar, 7075 aluminum.

    Thoughts?

I am getting ready to sell a 1 piece N2O tbar very soon. It’s a 39” very solid and stable. No glitching in diff water temps. Great bar for many years I’m just upgrading. Let me know if your interested. Very good price for a 1 piece.
